Dagmar can be seen as a little girl at her grandma's house in Nexø elsewhere on the Web site. I think her father was a seaman, whose name was something like Mauritz Lorentze Larsen, who died at sea while Dagmar's mother was pregnant with another baby who did not survive?--this is a family story, not proven. It could be that Dagmar was the baby, and her father never met her? Dagmar and her mother lived with her grandparents on Ferskesø street in Nexø for some years. I have letters and cards from Dagmar to her aunt, my great grandmother, Caroline Pedersen Koford, in America, and I know Dagmar came to California to visit at least once. She had no children that I know of. Anders Nielsen Andersen was a school director in Rønne, I believe. He died around 1930 (?).
