Dagmar can be seen as a little girl at her grandma's house in Nexø elsewhere on the Web site. I think her father was a seaman, whose name was something like Mauritz Lorentze Larsen, who died at sea while Dagmar's mother was pregnant with another baby who did not survive?--this is a family story, not proven. Dagmar and her mother lived with her grandparents on Ferskesø street in Nexø. I have letters and cards from Dagmar to her aunt, my great grandmother, Caroline Pedersen Koford, in America, and I know Dagmar came to California to visit at least once. She had 2 children, I think, and I have no information about either of them. Anders Nielsen Andersen was a school director in Rønne, I believe. He died around 1930 (?). Did Dagmar have children? Maybe not... I have some of her letters.
